Big Fish Schoolwear is committed to supplying as much information on our website as possible, to help our customers make an informed decision when purchasing school uniform from us.

Our FAQ’s are designed to answer as many questions as possible to help and improve your shopping experience with Big Fish Schoolwear.

How long will my order take?

All orders are normally delivered within 7 days throughout the year. However, during the busy summer period please allow 14 days, as this helps us to ensure your order reaches you on time during the summer months.

How much does delivery cost?

During term time, all orders are delivered to your school on a weekly basis, free of charge. During the school holidays, you can opt to have your order delivered to school during the first week of the new term or, if you would prefer, have it delivered to your home for just £5.99. If you need an item in a hurry, we can despatch your goods on a next day courier service for £9.50, if placed before 10am. *Please note that someone must be available to sign for the goods on delivery & this service is not available for deliveries at weekends. Orders placed on a Friday or over the weekend will be despatched on a Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

What if I’m not sure which size to order?

Your school office have a sizing pack, containing samples that you can try on & ensure you get the correct size for your child.

Do I have to order over the website?

Ordering over our site is fast, easy and safe. But, if you are still hesitant, give us a call & we will do our best to help you through the process.

Can I cancel an order?

The simple answer is yes! Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to cancel your order. If your order has been despatched, please return the goods to us and we will either refund or exchange your order, depending on your wishes.

I have placed an order but not received a confirmation email

Once you have completed your order, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don’t receive one within 24 hours there may be a problem, so please get in contact with us by phone or email.

The item I wanted is out of stock

At Big Fish Schoolwear we aim to maintain reasonable stock levels at all times. Obviously, at times of high demand, stock levels can run low. If this occurs, we will send you an e-mail giving you a forecast delivery date. You will be asked if you are happy to wait until the item is back in stock or cancel and receive a refund.

How long do I have to return an item?

You have 28 days to return an item from date of receipt.

What happens if I receive a faulty item?

If you receive an item that is faulty, e-mail us for a returns form & send it back to us and we will process a full refund or exchange.

What happens if I received the wrong item?

If you receive the wrong item, e-mail us for a returns form & send it back to us. We can then refund you or send you the correct item.

What is our refund policy?

If for any reason you are unhappy with any item that you have purchased from us, you can return the item to us in its original condition within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.
